Vintage American Indian Moccasins Cherokee Beaded HideVintage american indian moccasins cherokee beaded hide. Hello! I really don't know much about these moccasins-the elderly lady i got them from said she thought they were cherokee, and from about 1910 or 1920, and belonged to her grandfather who was cherokee. They are approx. 9 3/4 long, and 3 1/2 across the widest part. The beadwork is all intact, and quite beautiful. The hide has some wear, adn dirt, but no rips or tears, and is soft, and supple. The stitching is all hand done. Please note-one of the ties is missing. Please feel free to ask questions-or ask for add'l pix, as there is no return. Thanks! |
